The doctor who's been where you are.
Dr. Stephanie Smith didn't learn about movement from a textbook. She lived it.
She grew up in New York, earned a Division I athletic scholarship to Penn State, competed at the highest level of collegiate soccer — Big Ten Championships, All-Conference honors, NCAA Final Four — then played professionally with the Vancouver Whitecaps.
She knows what it feels like to push your body to its limit. She also knows what it feels like when it stops cooperating.
That experience is why her patients describe her the way they do:
"She doesn't just chase symptoms. She identifies and treats the root cause."
"She took her time, listened, and gave me a plan that actually makes sense."
"For the first time, I actually understood what was wrong with my body."
After competing, Dr. Smith earned her Doctorate in Chiropractic and her Master's in Sports Health Medicine from Life University — right here in Marietta. But one degree was never going to be enough.
She's also certified in Functional Movement Systems, Selective Functional Movement Assessment, Graston Technique, Chiropractic Extremity care, and kettlebell training — because a body that's been pushed hard needs more than an adjustment. It needs a system.
That's exactly why she built AIM in 2018.
She kept seeing the same pattern: people getting temporary relief, stopping care, and ending up back at square one. Not because they weren't trying — but because no one had given them a real structure to follow.
AIM is that structure.
Dr. Smith works best with adults who are done guessing. Former athletes who feel like strangers in their own bodies. Busy professionals who need their body to keep up with their life. People who've done the PT, tried the gym, taken the advice — and still don't feel like they can trust themselves to move without something going wrong.
